Ongoing Committees:
- Fundraising Committee - Responsible for organizing our 2 fundraising events. Popcorn in fall & hot chocolate in winter. (All students will participate in the fundraising)
- Guest Speaker Committee - Responsible for deciding on appropriate speakers, contacting guest speakers, preparing invitations, snacks, set up, and thank you notes for all guest speakers throughout the year.
- Elementary Mentor Committee - Responsible for creating fun science activities to present to 3rd grade students. The committee must lead the station activities, organize materials, and prepare all the event news, invitations, posters, etc.
- Announcements Committee - Responsible for coming up with interesting science facts to be read on the morning announcements. Most of them must be relevant to 7th or 8th grade science.
- Bear Essentials or Newsletter Committee - Responsible for creating science related public service announcements using video cameras. Members must write, direct, perform, and edit the videos to air on Bear Essentials. If you do not do the recorded announcements, you can create, write & publish a science related newsletter for BMS students.
- Geobots - Responsible for all Robobot activities and events including research, presentation and robot programming of game and challenge.
